Selected novels will be read as a class, partly at home and partly in class. The novels are used as a means to study literary devices, develop literary analysis skills, and they may serve as mentor texts for writing assignments. You will be expected to bring a new or used copy of the class novel on the date announced. If there are special circumstances preventing you from obtaining a copy of the novel, you or your parent/guardian must notify Miss Villa in advance and other arrangements will be made.
